Bitcoin crashed again and again and again and again …

Are you scare? am I scare? you betcha I’m a little bit scare whoever says they’r not scare or even a little nervous is a liar.

Anyhow, welcome to the Bitcoin world as most people say, it will go up one day, and down the next, up a little, big crashed, then up a little then big crash, $20k today $2k tomorrow. It is Bitcoin Cryptocurrencies, when will this end? no one know, it is super volatile still today.

Someone mentioned that Bitcoin price need to be at $150K in order to get ETF, I don’t know how this come about, must be some insane calculation that they did.

If you are into Cryptos currencies world, you should not be surprise of the volatility, up one day big down the next, down one day and sky rocket the next, you just have to keep your eye open and for the daily trade so call day trade, you buy the dip and sell the up.

Don’t get scare and say “I’m not going to look at the price chart again, it’s too scary and could give me a heart attack” don’t be. Knowing that you’re getting into Cryptos world Bitcoin, you know it’s volatile and the money you invested is the money that you do not need for a year or more or never or could also possibly be gone for many years. Never invest in money you cannot afford to loose.

If you are scare, nervous checking the price of Bitcoin every time, but you need to check it in order to sell and make a profit, then why not set auto buy and auto sell because most if not all Bitcoin Crypto exchange now a day have that auto buy and sell features with stop loss and on and so forth, even short sell … for only those day trader that is. However if you are a day trader, you already expect the volatility so you should not be scare or afraid to look at it. One day seeing your portfolio gained 2 figures and next all gone and you’re thinking, DAMN!!!! I should have sold it yesterday, it’s typical. You’re not alone, don’t be scare, don’t be afraid, everyone in cryptocurrencies are pretty much the same as you, even the CEO of Paypal he’s buying Bitcoin and HOLD, he’s not worrying about volatility because he already know it is volatile, he’s in it for a long term.

So folks, don’t worry, many people are like you in the Cryptocurrencies world with Bitcoin, just do not invest money into scam coins, you’re safe with the top 3 like Bitcoin Ethereum Litecoin XRP, and just hold, we’re all in the same boat.

digitalocean.com latest news and update “What We’ve Been Up To: DigitalOcean’s 2019 Year in Review”

I have both services with digitalocean.com and vultr.com, I like digitalocean.com the most so far. You can pretty much configure the server your way, the way you want it, not have to worry about sharing the server with someone else if you want to. VPS is much better than shared hosting since you get your own IP and a separate image of the operating system to yourself, although you’re on a server that might have other people using it also, but it’s separate, you get your own bandwidth and cpu ram usage.

It’s been an exciting 2019 here at DigitalOcean and we’d love to take the opportunity to share what we’ve been up to. With everyone that makes up our community in mind, we’ve worked hard over the last year to provide new features – and to launch new products that better serve each of you.

As always, we welcome any ideas and suggestions you have for our 2020 product roadmap. Our product team reviews these on a regular basis, and looks forward to your insights.

Droplets

General Purpose Droplets with dedicated compute power >>
In April, we announced the general availability of General Purpose Droplets with dedicated compute power. These support scenarios requiring higher performance such as highly trafficked web and application servers, databases, ad servers, gaming servers, and more.

Memory-Optimized Droplets now generally available >>
Our Memory-Optimized Droplets support memory-intensive applications such as high-performance databases, web scale in-memory caches and indexes, real-time big data processing, and resource-intensive business apps.

Kubernetes & Managed Databases

Managed Kubernetes to build cloud-native applications using open source technologies >>
With our Kubernetes offering, we made it simple to build cloud-native applications using open source technologies — all while leaving the complexity and management of Kubernetes to us. Simply define the size and location of your worker nodes and let us provision, manage, and optimize the services needed to run your cluster.

Managed Databases for MySQL, Redis, and PostgreSQL >>
Many of our customers have expressed appreciation for the launch of Managed Databases for PostgreSQL, as it allowed them to focus on building apps and leave the laborious database configuration, tuning, and management to us. Since then, we added support for MySQL and Redis as well. We now provide a fully managed experience for three of the most popular open source databases in the world.

Marketplace

Introducing Marketplace, our platform for preconfigured 1-Click Apps >>
We launched Marketplace in March to make it easy for developers to get started in the cloud. The initial launch included a set of handpicked 1-Click Apps such as WordPress, Grafana, OpenFaaS, and more. Today, we have more than 100 1-Click Apps at your disposal.

Deploy pre-configured Kubernetes solutions as 1-Click Apps from the Marketplace >>
We expanded our Marketplace to include 1-Click Apps not only based on Droplets, but also on Kubernetes clusters managed by our DigitalOcean Kubernetes service. We also added support for cluster autoscaling, tokenized authentication, and minor version upgrades in the managed service.

Programs

Solutions Partner Program enables companies to partner with DigitalOcean >>
Our Solutions Partner Program enables companies to partner with us by providing cloud-based solutions to their customers. This partnership increases the number of ways developers and customers can engage with DO.

Hacktoberfest celebration of open source technologies concluded with 150,000 participating repositories >>
For the sixth straight year, our monthlong Hacktoberfest brought people across the world together to support open source technologies. While our mission stays the same, the number of events and contributions continues to top the charts year after year. This year, we ended the month of October with 673 events, 62,000 challenge completions, 482,000 pull requests opened, and 150,000 participating repositories across 150 countries. If you haven’t participated in the past, we hope you’ll join us next year!

Another IEO ICO coin from yobit.net “New Yobit IEO (ICO) in 21 hrs!”

Careful folks, although yobit.net is not a scam exchange, they are however running a platform that have a lot of new IEO ICO coins only exist on their own platform, meaning you cannot withdraw it to external wallet. Most of the new IEO ICO coins from yobit.net mimic the real coins on the public blockchain but only exist on their own yobit.net platform. Some people know about this but still going for it and loose, however there are people that also win, it’s like bidding on a card game at the casino and hope that it will go up and you sell and never get back in, just wait for the next IEO ICO on yobit.net. Some win, many looser though, so be careful, know what you’re getting into. However this is much better than those individual scam platform like arbitraging.co arb token, today known as apx apex token, and many other similar platform kept on popping up that scammed many people and ran away in hiding and nothing anyone can do about it.

Stellar lumens XLM airdrop from keybase success “1 new ENCRYPTED message from spacedrop”

Look like keybase did airdrop to legitimate users successfully. Do not bother to create multiple account, chances are you will get flagged detected and your account will sit in disqualified status for the airdrop. It’s not that hard to create multiple accounts using multiple IP from proxies to VPN to static VPS data center business IP, using voip phone # like google voice, multiple phone # multiple identity ID stolen or your friends and relatives, chances are you will get flagged and get disqualified. It’s easy to create multiple keybase account to take advantage of the airdrop, but it is also easy for keybase to detect and flag your account as disqualified, it is not hard now a day to detect scammers and cheaters. Many ways keybase can detect it since you’re connecting to keybase with the app or software program running from your computer, when you made the connection to keybase server host, they can pretty much tell who you are location and your computer and stuff like that, and if your identity don’t match with your phone # and such, you will get flagged for further verification and get disqualified for the airdrop, so don’t waste your time in creating multiple accounts all your accounts may get disqualified and you just wasted a lot of time trying to cheat with zero result. Just get one account and be happy with it, don’t lie, don’t cheat, live an honest life, it will go a long way. 🙂

Hi @, BOOOYEAH! Those are your free Lumens worth $45.17. Quick details:

• You’ll get ’em next month, too!

• It’s not too late for your slowpoke friends. https://keybase.io/airdrop. Or…just invite anyone from Keybase chat. Click “New chat” and enter their phone number or email, to pull them in for December 15.

• The Stellar team wrote a great blog post: “So you just got your Keybase spacedrop. What now?” Seriously, a good question. Here is there answer: https://medium.com/stellar-community/spacedrop-2398fa160d19

• Be careful. Don’t give anyone your Stellar “secret key” and don’t trust any website that makes you paste it in. No one needs to know a secret to give you something.

GoPro5 Black Hero audio microphone muffled distorted fix?

Very easy fix: If you removed the charger compartment, that is the cause, just put it back. If you put the camera into the holder that blocked the microphones of the camera, that’s the cause, just drill big holes showing the microphones. Lastly check the camera holes, make sure no dirt or debris in there especially after water exposure. If none of those three fixes your audio muffled distorted issue then it’s probably the microphone itself or your camera speaker play back is bad, just play the clip on another device to see if the audio is any better.

Below is the fix mentioned by one of the gopro users. https://community.gopro.com/t5/Cameras/muffled-audio-Hero-5/td-p/20149

Re: muffled audio Hero 5
Options
Hi, I have made an experiment with this issue, I have found that the audio is affected by the charging port door. if you remove the charging port door to use in the open case for ease of conecting the USB cable you will find the audio is very very muffled and if you

replace the door again the audio is fine ! I dont think anything can be done about this, I would say if you wand good audio then make sure you have the USB/HDMI door on and closed.

[WordPress Security] High Severity Vulnerability Patched in WP Maintenance Plugin

Check your wordpress plugin folks, make sure everything is updated, your plugin, your themes, and wordpress itself is up to date, auto update enabling if possible. As WordPress are becoming more popular it will also becoming more popular for hackers to target and hack your website anyway they can to compromise your website or your whole web server, so pay close attention to your wordpress folks, if you don’t have to the time to monitor or do maintenance, you can hire someone to do it, if you have a business websites it’s not a lot of money for $50 to $100 a month for a full 24/7 monitoring backup and restore instantly if something goes wrong.

How to secure your Bitcoin to your beneficiary in an event that you died or loss of memory illness?

For me, since I trust google drive if I configured it correctly it is pretty much secure. Now a day most if not everyone have internet and an email, and chances are google gmail. I use the google feature that have basic monitoring of your status whether you’re active or inactive. Active mean it detect you’re online tied to your google account, inactive mean your account hasn’t been detected being online or active for a while. So by using this feature google can detect if you’re dead possible and it will automatically send you a message to mail, then to your device app message, then to your phone, if you did not respond or answer, it will consider you’re dead and then it will start sending messages to your so call beneficiary.

So after a period of time like 1 month 2 months 3 months or so on, you can configure this, after google did not detect your active status, it will send an email to your so call beneficiary asking them to check up on you to see if you’re alive or dead. In the message you can give access to your beneficiary of your google drive access to certain folders or documents, they would need to download by certain amount of time before google will destroy your whole google drive storage after confirming you’re dead. So make sure it is being downloaded. So by using this method you can embed certain information, in this case maybe the password to your Bitcoin wallet or the location of your Bitcoin Cryptos wallet. You can configure secondary password on the documents that have this information so that to be sure it is indeed your beneficiary and not a hacker or someone else. The password can be something like what is their date of birth, or something that they know 100% for sure, something that you know each other would know for sure. This will prevent hackers hacked your beneficiary account into your documents and steal your Bitcoin Crypto wallet. This is the path I would take, since google is #1 on the internet for almost everything, they even plan to start a bank now, google bank that’s right.

Some other methods involve manual activities which I don’t like, such as give out a portion of the secret key paraphrase or something like that, divide it into 4 people or whatever I don’t think is good, because those words can be loss. Another method involve putting it a safe box, fireproof, explosion proof, waterproof and so on, but someone need the key and it can be opened by a locksmith plus someone can just steal it from your house or where ever you keep it. Another method is using the bank safebox, deposit box … I don’t know exactly how that work, but I don’t trust anyone else managing it. Therefore I think google drive is best, one google drive not enough you can have multiple, and it is all automated, you just need to make sure you configured it correctly and double tripple check, ensure you also have 2FA turned on obviously, and change your password as often as you can, but really needed unless you got hacked. This google account of your make sure you use all the accurate information, correct, real information just in case you loss your 2FA phone, you can quickly get into your google account by recovering it with a few security questions that only you would know.

Just to recap – So you have some Bitcoin stored somewhere and seeing the price of Bitcoin sky rocketed and wondering if you should sell it or not, if you’re not selling it to cash and pay tax then take a nice vacation or whatever, then you should think about securing your Bitcoin wallet to your beneficiary in the event that you died or in serious health issue where you loss your memory etc… So be prepare for that. Now some may say, I don’t need to this since I only have like 1 Bitcoin or even 0.0025Bitcoin, oh yeah? what if Bitcoin go up to $150,000 in a few years or even $1 million in 10 years then what? you just lost a ton of money there since no one can get in your Bitcoin wallet beside yourself.

DigitalOcean.com latest update “A message about Intel’s recent vulnerability announcement”

DigitalOcean.com is awesome, I think it’s much better than vultr. I have VPS on both companies and other companies as well, in term of reliability security DigitalOcean won, however the security background check is a little bit time consuming, but most people can rest assure that DigitalOcean is doing KYC (know your customer) check to help prevent any possible intruder taking advantage to hack or gain access to their data center. Keep up the good work DigitalOcean! kudo to you.

Hi there,

Intel released a statement regarding Machine Check Error Avoidance on Page Size Change. We have rolled out mitigation efforts across our entire fleet and are writing to let you know that our platform is secure and your Droplets and data will not be impacted and you do not need to take any action.

While customers updating to the latest kernels from OS providers may see that the status is vulnerable, we want to assure you that your Droplets are safe because we’ve implemented mitigation at the hypervisor level.

Machine Check Error Avoidance on Page Size Change is a significant security issue. If an attacker were able to create a Droplet colocated with another user’s Droplet, they could exploit the vulnerability, giving them the ability to shutdown that Droplet within a few minutes. We acted quickly to roll out our mitigations and ensure our users were not vulnerable to any attacks.

You may have also heard about the TSX Asynchronous Abort (TAA) vulnerability announced by Intel. This vulnerability does not impact our platform.

The security of our platform and our users’ data is our top priority, and we’re taking every measure to ensure our customers remain secure, including keeping you informed of updates about vulnerabilities that may impact your account. For more information, you can read Intel’s deep dive.
